YOUmedia Library

YOUmedia is a program that has been continuing to expand its network throughout the midwest including in the Milwaukee Public Library located in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I have been "hired" to design a space that emphasizes digital learning and workshops throughout the space. This is a place where teens can come to help with homework, experiment with design software in a range of disciplines, record music, and participate in a variety of digital media activities and workshops.

This public library is a comfortable environment that is meant to reduce stress and over stimulation through soft textures and warm colors. I want to focus in on a contemporary feel that emphasizes growth and creativity in youth and teens.
